Are Sherry’s as Sweet as the Wine?

Sherry is a fortified wine made from white grapes that are grown near the town of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Per Wikipedia, most Sherry’s are initially dry with the sweetness added later. So, does the name Sherry have anything to do with being dry or sweet? The name Sherry represents a person who is smart in school, needs her freedom and requires alone time to be able to reflect. She is a great listener and is easy to like. Sherry’s are as charming and desirable as the wine.
